Lifeint developed the EXO-DM platform around tangential flow filtration and size-exclusion chromatography (TFF + SEC) for large-volume EV separation. The platform supports proprietary process development, controlled sample processing and product-quality assessment. Separation and quality-control steps can be adapted to downstream use and scale-up needs. Workflow: Supernatant pretreatment → Coarse membrane filtration →Ceramic-membrane fine filtration → Disc-based two-phase sterile filtration→Ultra-high-pressure tangential-flow concentration→Low-pressure, high-throughput size-exclusion chromatography→Iodixanol-cushion ultracentrifugation for concentration and purification→ EV purity and contamination QC→ Lyophilisation, hydrogel loading and other downstream processing
