On the morning of 25 July 2017, a university visit was arranged to help students understand how companies operate, future working environments and the skills employers seek, while encouraging exchanges with businesses. Xiamen University and its School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized the visit. Guided by teachers Guoquan Chen and Daxiong Han, a group of 12 students led by Jianwen Xu came to the Haicang Biomedical Park and visited Lifeint.
9:30–10:00: The university group toured the biomedical park and its exhibition hall, learning about the resident companies and the park’s plans.
10:00–12:00: The students visited Xiamen Lifeint Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Maoli Chen introduced the company’s size, main services, development and working environment.
The students then asked questions, which Maoli Chen addressed along with advice on employment. He expressed hope for continued university–industry collaboration and opportunities for graduates.
