Lifeint Technical Director Guodong Ye invited to a national young researchers’ cancer metastasis conference
The first national young researchers’ conference on cancer metastasis was scheduled for 24–26 November 2017 in Shantou. It was hosted by the youth committee of the China Anti-Cancer Association’s cancer metastasis group and jointly organized by Shantou University Medical College and two tumor biology laboratories. Meetings of the standing and youth committees were also scheduled.
Under the theme “Innovation, Translation and Collaboration,” the program covered basic and clinical research in lung, liver, colorectal, breast, gastric and esophageal cancers. Established experts and younger researchers were to present and discuss advances, supporting exchange and collaboration.
To encourage younger researchers, the conference also planned a China Anti-Cancer Association young talent award for cancer metastasis research, judged by senior specialists in the field.
