On 13 July 2018, Xiamen Lifeint Technology and Xiamen Haicang Biotechnology Development hosted a seminar on emerging biomedical research translation technologies at the biomedical industrial park. Speakers discussed early tumour liquid-biopsy development, opportunities and challenges in microbiota transplantation, transcriptomic investigation of Rg3 mechanisms in colorectal cancer, and CAR-T cellular immunotherapy development.

Lifeint’s R&D lead presents early liquid-biopsy technology.

Chengge Fuxing’s technical director presents microbiota transplantation technology.

Aimo Gene’s operations director presents the molecular mechanisms of Rg3 against colorectal cancer.

Lifeint’s general manager discusses cellular immunotherapy in the context of the company’s research, including CAR-T technology.
The speakers discussed current research topics, helping technical attendees deepen their understanding. Attendees asked questions and exchanged views with the speakers after the presentations.

The half-day seminar concluded with participants sharing new knowledge and considering the potential of the biomedical sector. The article describes expectations for continued growth in the field as economic, environmental and health-awareness conditions change.
