The original notice described Dr Ye Guodong as an associate professor at Jinan University and Lifeint’s technical director. He presented research methods for functional molecules and signaling pathways, illustrating the process from study design to functional validation. The notice cited publications in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and listed a historical impact factor of 20.2 for Gastroenterology.

After the meeting, Dr Ye discussed research questions with medical staff. The original notice reported interest in potential cooperation on Lifeint’s platelet-based TCPseq research and expressed hopes for further discussion in basic research and clinical translation.
Lifeint provides EV research and application services from sample preparation, isolation and characterization to omics, functional studies, modification and scale-up. It jointly established a biomedical technology centre with Xiamen University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, built process-development laboratories to GMP standards, and contributed to an EV expert consensus. Its service records cover more than 300 plant species.
