On December 20, 2018, Lifeint technical director Dr Ye Guodong and technical manager Li Shunjie presented to research staff at Zhongshan Hospital, Xiamen University, at the invitation of its research office.

Dr Ye described methods for studying functional molecules and signaling pathways in a first-author Gastroenterology paper and discussed data organization and presentation. The notice listed a historical impact factor of 20.2 for the journal. Technical manager Li Shunjie presented approaches to innovation in medical research, including the challenge of developing mechanistic questions from clinical sample resources.
After the meeting, the teams continued discussing research questions and expressed hopes for further work in basic research and clinical translation.
Lifeint provides EV research and application services from sample preparation, isolation and characterization to omics, functional studies, modification and scale-up. It jointly established a biomedical technology centre with Xiamen University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, built process-development laboratories to GMP standards, and contributed to an EV expert consensus. Its service records cover more than 300 plant species.
