The second young entrepreneurs forum on in vitro diagnostics took place in Nanchang on March 23, 2019, with an innovation-project presentation session.

Lifeint general manager Chen Maoli presented the company’s platelet-based TCPseq early cancer detection research project.

The historical presentation described a research project combining platelet isolation, low-input RNA amplification, library preparation and machine learning. It reported more than 1,000 accumulated samples and an accuracy above 90%, but this page does not provide the validation cohort, calculation method or independent clinical evidence needed to interpret those figures.

The presentation described platelet separation and a claimed 99.9999% purity-related quality-control measure; the measurement definition and supporting validation are not provided here.

The presentation described molecular labeling, low-input platelet RNA amplification and library-preparation reagents.

The presentation described a deep-learning classifier and a platelet transcriptome dataset. Its claim of being the first such Asian multi-cancer dataset is not independently established on this page.
The presentation proposed platelet RNA analysis for early screening and compared it with ctDNA, EV and circulating-tumor-cell approaches. Its comparative sensitivity and false-positive claims, and the market forecast cited at the time, require independent current evidence.

The forum concluded with a group photograph and discussion among participants, speakers and mentors.

Lifeint provides EV research and application services from sample preparation, isolation and characterization to omics, functional studies, modification and scale-up. It jointly established a biomedical technology centre with Xiamen University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, built process-development laboratories to GMP standards, and contributed to an EV expert consensus. Its service records cover more than 300 plant species.
